Biography
Omar Khaium is the Assistant Director (Training) at Khan Foundation with extensive experience in training, research, and capacity building in governance, democracy, and human rights development. He specializes in designing training modules, facilitating workshops, and promoting civic engagement and social accountability initiatives. He has contributed to numerous USAID-supported governance and local government strengthening programs, focusing on women's empowerment, citizen monitoring, and anti-corruption advocacy. With strong expertise in training, monitoring, evaluation, and project coordination, he has worked with government officials, NGOs, and civil society stakeholders across Bangladesh. His professional mission is to strengthen democratic governance through knowledge sharing, leadership development, and inclusive participation.
