Khan Foundation's Rohingya Camp Visit and Relief Distribution Program![]() On October 3rd, 2017 a team of Khan Foundation, led by the Executive Director, Rokhsana Khondker and the Chairperson, Dr Saleemul Huq, in collaboration with a local NGO in Cox's Bazar, Help Cox's Bazar, assisted in the distribution of relief to 650 stateless Rohingya families living in the Kutupalong Refugee Camps in the Ukhia Upazilla of Cox's Bazar District. With firsthand exposure and accounts of the current living conditions of these poor, innocent people and the sheer violence, trauma and persecution they have been subjected to their entire lives, we are extremely humbled and grateful for all help the organizations and individuals have provided in any way. A lot of good work is being done here by local and international NGOs as well as the local inhabitants, with the full support of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. We need to stand strong and stand together against the racial, economic and geo-political forces at play that have led to the persecution of these innocent lives. This is their story. #wearetherohingyas |
