The latest initiative of the Khan Foundation in higher education sector has been the establishment of a Private University by the style The Millennium University (TMU), as a New Generation University whose motto is "Knowledge shall make you Free". The University has 5 Schools ranging from Humanities, Business, Law to Social Sciences and Sciences & ICT offering Majors in 11 different Subjects as well as Master's in Business Administration, Law, English Literature and Communication Engineering. Conceived in the year 2000, students at TMU are offered a broad based liberal education in the first semester acquainting themselves with a wide ranging subjects varying from History of Civilization to Concepts of Security in a Globalized World.
