33rd Death Anniversary of Abdul Momen KhanOn 15 December 2017, the 33rd death anniversary of late Mr. Abdul Momen Khan, a humanitarian and prolific social worker, was commemorated with due reverence at his birthplace, Charnagardi village of Palash Upazilla, Narshindi. Abdul Momen Khan Memorial Foundation, the sponsor of The Millennium University, was established in 1988 in memory of the late Mr. Khan. To pay their respects, people placed flowers on his grave. A Doah Mahfil and a discussion program on his life and works was arranged to observe the day. During the discussion, everyone present celebrated him as the initiator of the “modern Narsingdi” and expressed profound gratitude for his contributions. During his lifetime, he was initially a government official and later became the Honorable Food Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and carried out his duties successfully. On behalf of Khan Foundation and The Millennium University, we pray for the peace of his departed soul. |
